I recently purchased this car for my nephew. After looking at all the options this one was listed for 60% off and I only wanted to spend $200, so with the discount it cost me 200. I thought How can I beat that price. What a mistake. The car shows as ages 2-6 however the seat is not adjustable so my 3 year old nephew cannot even reach the pedal. The instructions to put it together were terrible and contained absolutely no information as to who the manufacturer was or how to contact them. The decorative stickers were already on the car when delivered and had rips in 3 places. Once the tires are put on the car they can not be removed because they are attached by a "flower nut" that actually bends the metal in order to get the tires to stay in place, so you really can't return it. You have to charge the battery for 3-4 hours just to get 45 mins of riding out of it and if you don't use it right after it's unplugged, the battery does not maintain the charge. Directions also say to be sure to charge it at least once a month or the battery will stop working, so I guess you have to remember to go plug the thing in over the winter, which means you can't put it in storage with the rest of the summer toys. It says the car will drive indoors or outdoors. Indoors on the hard wood floors the car will not turn left for some reason, and outdoors it will not run on grass only the road or sidewalk. Only positive thing I can say is it's fairly sturdy. My nephew is now using the car to store all of his Hot Wheels in cause that's pretty much all it's good for. Very disappointing!
