Broke it in the first hour, on the first charge with 3S batteries. What I broke is the rear drive axle to the rear right tire, it seems the lock on the end of the pin came off causing the pin to move out of the center position and as a result the pin tore through the plastic piece connecting the axel drive shaft to the tire.. This was running it on grass with the wheelie bar total use was 25 mins before this happened. It seems the front tire already started this as well. The end that holds the pin center and in place came off..
As a result I will just upgrade the whole Axle drive shaft assembly (all 4 tires) with part TRA 5451R that are all steel. I am surprised the car came with Plastic components for such a high torque vulnerable area.
So right off the bat given that incredible power of this car, it really is no joke. I owned the Brushless 5603 model and its fun, but this car is scary how fast it is. You can't hit the throttle too quickly or you will break stuff especially in grass and if you don't have a wheelie bar plan on picking it up alot...
Also to clarify, this model DOES NOT come with batteries which is 5608X. However it DOES include TWO LIPO 2 / 3 Cell battery chargers. They will take a long time to charge because their maximum output is .8 amps. (The higher end Traxxas charger puts out 6 AMPS. That will charge your battery in an hour or less for LIPO 5000 mAh.
So bottom line is:

Amazing speed
Amazing power (its scary it really is) When this car gets up to speed and is cruising down the street, you know one false move its going to hit a tree or the curb or the ditch and its going to be bad. (maybe this is a con?)
Love the information when paired with the iphone/ipod with the included adapter on the remote control.
Love the range of the controller, I was able to use it 200 feet away.
CONS:
Be prepared to break stuff and pick it up off the ground.
Have to buy 2 batteries because it comes with none: You are going to need (2)of model 2872 or 2869 LIPO batteries.
Here are items I now know really isn't an option unless you are willing to deal with the consequences as explained, or you can't afford the upgrades:
Get the EZ-Peak PLUS charger with the 2-Cell or 3-Cell Dual LIPO adapter 2918 or 2917 depending on if you get 2S or 3S batteries (this allows you to charge both batteries at once) and within an hour together. If you use the included chargers it will take 6+ hours to charge those batteries.
Buy the drive shaft upgrade kids: Model 5451R (this includes all 4 tires) (Odds are the plastic ones that come with it will be destroyed by the power of this car) I honestly dont know why they didnt include them by default..
Buy the wheelie bar: Model 5472 (This will keep the back (or front tires) on the ground when you gun it down the street or track. If you dont have this be prepared for walking to pick it up along with a scratched up shell.
Really this car is way over powered to be given plastic parts in crucial areas, like drive axles. But I won't complain I will just upgrade the parts. I plan on putting on new tires as well as I have heard the stock ones can get tore up by the pure power this car has. I really like the car and it really is a lot of fun. I just hope I dont break anything else..
Update:
I broke another two parts, second time I ran this car:
Center shaft destroyed the front differential bulk head, and I ripped up the rear tires. So I had to buy a new bulk head, and rear tires and I went ahead and bought the upgarded center drive shaft (go to traxxas website and click on e-revo brushless, model, downloads and click on exploded parts list to see parts that I managed to break).
I managed to do all that damage in 25 minutes, just by running it with 3S lip batteries and enjoying its power. In all honesty though a RC truck shouldn't have so much power that it destroys itself because you pushed the throttle too hard. I think I learned my lesson and now I will limit the power to the training mode (the ipod touch/iphone app has this ability to control it when plugged into the RC remote's docking station.
Its fun though I enjoy taking the car apart and finding upgardes for it. If breaking parts doesn't sound like a good time for you, buy the brushed edition. You will have a lot more fun and no broken parts, unless of course you run it into the curb like my 8 year old does :)

after looking at several RC trucks I decided to get the E-Revo. I am very happy with my choice. I have now run it through several battery packs and it only seems to get better. I did rip a tire on my first time but that was my fault, not the truck. It was shipped direct from Amazon and delivery was prompt.
