I purchased this car for my daughter on her 3rd birthday. She has a little sister and I thought it would be great for both of them to use. Overall I am very happy with this car. There are a few issues that I am up in the air about.
1) The car is very "jerky". It takes off fast and stops fast. There is no in between. My daughter has already busted her lip once on the dashboard being launched forward. The seatbelts are pretty much worthless. They are much too large (even on the tightest setting) but I think I can rig them up somehow.
2) There is no way to prevent my kids from flipping the switch on and running over eachother. There should be a parental switch somewhere outside of the car. They love to play with the buttons on the dashboard (where the on/off switch is) and are constantly turning it on and accidentally hitting the gas. The car really takes off when it starts up.
3) The car that I purchased has a defect so I am in the process of returning it to get a replacement. Hopefully it goes pretty smoothly.
Like I said, overall it is a very cool car. My girls LOVE driving around (even though I am in control with the remote). Hopefully I can make some after market adjustments to taylor it to my needs.
